You can get 100% of your tuition covered if you agree to a service commitment in a high-needs public school or subject shortage area.

To be elgible for the The Teaching Fellows for Maryland Scholarship, you must:

Be enrolled or intend to be enrolled in an institution that leads to an intial teaching license
Agree to work in a high-needs public school or grade level/subject shortage area
- Subject shortage areas include: Special education, STEM, career and technical education (CTE), English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and foreign languages.
- Maryland State Department of Education has approved schools that identify as high-needs.

The service commitment is up to two years in the designated areas above.
