Minnesota Student Teacher Grants

To help future Minnesota teachers by providing financial support during their student teaching experience, which must be at least 12 weeks long, as part of earning an initial teaching license.

To be eligible, you must:

• Be enrolled in an approved Minnesota teacher prep program that requires at least 12 weeks of student teaching
• Be working toward your initial teaching license
• Plan to teach in either a rural Minnesota school district or a shortage area subject
