Meet the Speakers
Ann is a retired educator from Denver with 31 years of classroom experience. She advocates for students, teachers and families, and has supported aspiring educators through student teaching and coursework.
Ann Franco
A third-grade reading teacher in DFW, Lisa brings a strong passion for supporting future educators. She earned her M.Ed. through a residency at SMU and is certified in EC-6 Core Subjects and ESL.
Lisa Raizes
With 17 years in education, Megan serves at the Office of Magnet and Curriculum Enhancement Programs in North Carolina. A proud NC Teaching Fellow alum, she’s passionate about helping others grow as educators.
Megan Kornegay
Lundon is a bilingual Spanish teacher in NC with over 20 years of experience. She has a Master’s in Spanish Education and a Bachelor’s in History. Outside the classroom, she enjoys time with friends and family.
