The School of Education upholds Lehman College's commitments to access, excellence and multicultural understanding through academic departments dedicated to developing teachers who affirm diversity, creativity, critical thinking, integrity and technological expertise in 21st-century tools and skills.

The M.S. in Computer Science Education program will prepare you to teach Computer Science Education at all grade levels. You can complete this degree online or in a hybrid format. You will complete at least 105 clock hours of hands-on, in-person field work, and then participate in a full-time student teaching experience. 

This program is for future teachers seeking initial teacher certification in New York State. To complete your certification, you must also meet all other New York State Education Department certification requirements, including passing the Content Specialty Test in Computer Science.
