Program Info

The early childhood program lets you customize your learning experience by choosing between in-person and online classes. When you complete the program, you’ll be ready to teach children from birth through preschool, and you’ll earn an initial Minnesota teaching license that lets you teach kindergarten- grade 3.

You’ll learn from experienced faculty who have real classroom experience and are dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Because class sizes are small, you’ll get to know your professors and classmates personally.

From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience through practicum placements in local schools and childcare centers. You’ll learn important teaching methods in the classroom and apply them in real-world settings, helping you build the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

Please note: some liberal arts courses may only be available in person or require you to attend live online sessions.
