Each semester, the Office of Clinical Experiences at St. Cloud State University works to secure hundreds of high-quality field experience and student teaching placements for education students. These placements do more than meet graduation and licensure requirements—they give you the chance to deepen your knowledge, explore innovative teaching methods and grow as an educator. When you move from recent graduate to new teacher, you’ll have the skills and confidence to inspire students across Minnesota.

The University partners with over 100 schools across the state to match you with placements that fit your teaching preferences and the classroom environment you hope to experience.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in local schools, learning to meet the needs of all students in your grade level and subject area. Through field experiences, you’ll apply research-based teaching strategies and explore ways to engage learners using modern tools and technology.
