St. Francis College is a private, nonprofit institution offering bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and post-baccalaureate certificates. St. Francis prepares you to take your place as a leader in your field and become a contributing member of society.
St. Francis College offers the following initial teacher certification programs:
- Undergraduate programs in childhood and adolescent education
- Graduate programs in special education
- Post-baccalaureate certificate in childhood education (grades 1-6)
The teacher education program at St. Francis College prepares you with the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to teach in an inclusive classroom. You'll learn to lead a classroom with respect and compassion through an academically challenging curriculum and a welcoming and affirming environment. This program also reflects a deep commitment to the Franciscan ideals of collegiality, compassion, human dignity and service to others.
