Teacher Certification Program Achievements and Recognition:
- Teacher exam pass rate: Average pass rate of 89 percent for undergraduates and 92 percent for graduates on Content Specialty Tests.
- Employment rate: As of March 2023, 61 percent of 2019-20 teacher certification program graduates were employed by New York City schools, with 90 percent securing jobs within three years. Many grad program students are already hired before completing their programs.

Grants, Stipends, Scholarships
The Masters in Education Teacher Incentive Scholarship is for graduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria, such as living in New York State and agreeing to teach for five years at a New York State public elementary or secondary school. The award amount is up to $5,655 per semester.
Work Study, Working While Still Enrolled
Work-study opportunities are available on campus for eligible students at $19/hr. Other employment opportunities are available on campus, and you can also find employment off-campus.
